Products and installation
Which thread do your shower filters use?
A standard G1/2 (15A) thread on all finished sets.
Where can the filters be installed?
Between the shower head and hose, on the faucet outlet, or on a rain-shower arm. Do not install under a sink or basin, or on a washing-machine supply line.
How often should the cartridge be replaced?
About 1 to 3 months for travel filters, about 6 months for large-capacity filters and about 3 to 4 months for head-type filter showers. Replacement may be needed sooner depending on water quality and usage.
How does a user know it is time to replace?
In clear housings the media changes color (white, yellow, brown). Deep brown means it is time to change.
Do all cartridges fit all housings?
No. Each refill is made for its own housing. Gen 3 cartridges fit Gen 3 housings only.
Are they drinking-water purifiers?
No. Water Healer shower filters are designed for shower water only.
What is the Limescale version?
Limescale versions add an ion-exchange stage designed to help manage scale-forming minerals in harder water.
